The Hudson Valley Renegades are proud to highlight the military community, past and present, through our Veteran of the Game program. This program, presented by AARP New York, recognizes local veterans as well as active duty service men and women at every Renegades home game for the 2024 season.

Who is the Veteran of the Game?

A Veteran is a member (past or present) of the Armed Forces who is recognized for his or her service to our country at Heritage Financial Park. Recognitions occur during the top of the 3rd inning at every Renegades home game. Selected participants also receive a special Hudson Valley Renegades jersey!

How is the Veteran of the Game chosen?

Veterans are selected based on nominations received and availability. If selected, Veterans will be contacted by the Hudson Valley Renegades in advance of the date of their recognition.

How do I nominate a Veteran of the Game?
